Popis: ABSTRACT Purpose: to assess the relationship between deaf students’ fluency in Brazilian Sign Language (BSL) and oral language and hearing aid use. Method: the sample comprised 112 professional BSL translators, interpreters, and instructors. They answered a questionnaire on hearing characteristics and BSL and oral language fluency of students accompanied by them, who attended municipal schools in a Brazilian city.
