This article, in addition to presenting the indications for language teaching present in the documents that guide the Education of Youth and Adults in a situation of deprivation of liberty in the State of Santa Catarina - the Curricular Proposal of Santa Catarina (2014); the State plan for education in prisons 2016-2026: education, prison and freedom, possible dialogues (2017) and the Political-Pedagogical Project - CEJA Centro Florianópolis (2018, 2019) -, seeking, considering the Historical-Cultural Theory as a foundation, discuss the theoretical-methodological distances present in the documents and the significant absence of specific guidelines for teaching Portuguese / Mother Language in them. In this sense, this article also undertakes to think about the possibilities and limits of human training in language in education, promoted in the Santa Catarina prison system, according to the documentary guidelines, with a focus on humanization. |
