Popis:	CT angiography is the imaging modality of choice for the pre- and postsurgical evaluation of patients with pathologies of the thoracic aorta. The purpose of this review is to familiarize the reader with the technical principle, recent technical developments and requirements for specific examination protocols and image interpretation, and to highlight common pathologies and findings.
