Analysis of functions of regulated electric motor drive implemented in industrial voltage and frequency converter

Popis: Moderni frekvencijski pretvarači opremljeni su snažnim upravljačkim jedinicama koje nude širok broj programskih funkcija u svrhu poboljšanja kvalitete upravljanja, ali i zaštite električnih strojeva i pogona čije su oni dio. U radu je naveden pregled i opis dodatnih funkcija složenog industrijskog REMP-a (nadzor izolacije, temperature motora, ventilacije, kočnice, kočne jedinice i otpornika, mjerenja brzine...) temeljenog na ABB ACS880 frekvencijskom pretvaraču. Opisani su pripadni senzori i vanjski uređaji, te dodatne opcijske kartice pretvarača ABB ACS880 za prihvat signala i komunikaciju. Osim opisa osnovnih zadaća alata Drive Composer za parametriranje i puštanje u rad ACS880, objašnjene su i njegove napredne mogućnosti vezane uz programiranje unutar modula Adaptive Programming. Opisan je i alternativni, napredniji način programiranja u alatu Automation Builder. Korištenjem navedenih alata razvijena je logika za upravljanje i nadziranje dodatnih funkcija koja je ispitana na demo pretvaraču. Modern frequency converters are equipped with powerful control units that offer a wide range of program functions in order to improve the quality of control, but also to protect the electrical machines and drives of which they are a part. The paper provides an overview and description of additional functions of complex industrial regulated electric motor drives (monitoring of insulation, motor temperature, ventilation, brakes, brake units and resistors, speed measurements...) based on ABB ACS880 frequency converter. Associated sensors and external devices are described, as well as additional optional ABB ACS880 converter cards for signal reception and communication. In addition to describing the basic tasks of the Drive Composer for parameterization and commissioning of the ACS880, its advanced programming capabilities within the Adaptive Programming module are also explained. An alternative, more advanced way of programming in Automation Builder is also described. Using these tools, the control logic and monitoring of additional functions was developed and tested on a demo converter.
