Tema diplomskog rada su metode i oblici rada u nastavi geografije u Republici Hrvatskoj. Rad je podijeljen u dva dijela. U prvom djelu rada prikazane su nastavne metode i oblici rada u nastavi općenito s naglaskom na nastavne metode i oblike rada u nastavi geografije. Prikazan je i položaj geografije u osnovnoškolskom i srednjoškolskom sustavu obrazovanja Republike Hrvatske. U drugom dijelu rada izneseni su rezultati on-line anketnog ispitivanja koje je provedeno među nastavnicima geografije u osnovnim i srednjim školama Republike Hrvatske. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su kako je nastava geografije u Republici Hrvatskoj još uvijek tradicionalna te u njoj prevladavaju verbalne nastavne metode (metoda usmenog izlaganja i metoda razgovora) i frontalni oblik rada. Suvremene metode i oblici rada poput istraživačke metode, programirane nastave, učenja pomoću računala te projektne i timske nastave još uvijek koristi mali broj nastavnika. Main topics of this graduation thesis are methods and forms of teaching geography in the Republic of Croatia. The graduation thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part, teaching methods and forms in general are presented, with emphasis on teaching methods and forms in Geography. In addition, the position of Geography in primary and secondary education system of the Republic of Croatia is presented. In the second part of the graduation thesis results of an on-line survey conducted among geography teachers in primary and secondary schools in the Republic of Croatia are presented. The results indicate that geography teaching in the Republic of Croatia is still traditional and dominated by verbal teaching methods (oral presentation and discussion) and frontal teaching. Contemporary teaching methods and forms such as research method, problem-based instruction, computer assisted learning method, project and group instruction, are still used by only a small number of teachers. |
