Geçmiş zamanlara bakıldığı zaman erkek ve kadın arasındaki eşitsizlikler, kadını fikirsel anlamda da adaletsizlik, bir güç karşılaştırması ile cinsiyet yönünden her zaman ikinci plana koymuştur. Batı ve doğu toplumlarında da erkek olgusu daima önemli olmuştur. Toplumun önem arz eden yapı taşlarından biri olan kadın ise tarihi dönemlerden bugüne dek farklı sosyal eşitsizlikler içinde yer almıştır. Bu doğrultuda kadının yaşamış olduğu güç durumlar, sosyoloji, psikoloji ve felsefe gibi akademik alanlarda incelenirken sanat alanında da çeşitli şekillerde ele alınmıştır. Kadın ve sanat terimlerine toplumlarım bakış tarzları asırlardır farklılık göstermiş olsa da bu süreç günümüzde de aynı şekilde sürmektedir. Bu nedenle sanatta da kadın imgesi, cinsiyet ve bedeni üzerinden kadın haklarına ilişkin sürdürülen politikalarla kadının toplumsal yaşamdaki yeri çeşitli yönlerden incelenmiştir. Günümüzde performans sanatı ile kadın imgesi pek çok alanlardaki gibi toplumsal konular içinde de yer almaktadır. Tiyatro, görsel sanatlar, dans ve müzik gibi çeşitli disiplinler arasındaki sınırları ortadan kaldırmayı hedefleyen performans sanatı ile kadın olgusu aktarılmak istenen esas fikirler içinde ifade edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada, geçmiş ile günümüz zaman diliminde kadın imgesinin toplumdaki yerinin, performans sanatı ile incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. When we look at the past, inequalities between men and women have always put women in the second place in terms of intellectual injustice, a power comparison and gender. In western and eastern societies, the male phenomenon has always been important. Women, one of the most important building blocks of society, have been involved in different social inequalities since historical times. In this direction, the difficult situations that women have experienced have been examined in academic fields such as sociology, psychology and philosophy, while they have been dealt with in various ways in the field of art. Even though the way societies view the terms of women and art has differed for centuries, this process continues in the same way today. For this reason, the place of women in social life has been examined from various aspects with the policies pursued on women's rights through the image of women, gender and body in art. Today, performance art and the image of women are also included in social issues as in many fields. Performance art, which aims to eliminate the boundaries between various disciplines such as theater, visual arts, dance and music, and the phenomenon of women are expressed in the main ideas to be conveyed. In this study, it is aimed to examine the place of the woman image in society in the past and present time period with performance art. |
