For the purpose of this thesis a web repository Templator was developed. It enables to save graph and device templates which are used by Cacti, a system for network monitoring. With Templator all templates are stored in one place, they are standardized and sistematically organized. It consists of a search engine, a recommendation system, a manager for importing/exporting XML templates and enables users to login or register. The thesis also includes a basic overview how templates can be developed and how Cacti works. The web repository was developed with Twitter Bootstrap framework, which is nowadays very popular. It has proved a very powerful tool because it allows a fast and simple building of a website interface. |
