El presente trabajo es una reflexión crítica enfocada sobre el niño y su inteligencia en el ámbito educativo, la cual ha sido desarrollada en el contexto de las consideraciones epistémicas más representativas, desde finales del siglo XIX en que surge la psicología diferencial y la psicometría, abordando luego los aportes de la teoría psicogenética de Jean Piaget y la teoría socio cultural de Lev Vigotsky. Desde el punto de vista de su propósito investigativo, el trabajo se plantea como una propuesta para generar espacios críticos y de reflexión epistémica en torno a las implicaciones que han tenido dichas teorías en el contexto educativo. The present work is a critical reflection focused on the child and his intelligence in the educational field, which has been developed in the context of the most representative epistemic considerations, since the end of the XIX century when differential psychology and psychometry emerged, addressing then the contributions of the psychogenetic theory of Jean Piaget and the socio-cultural theory of Lev Vigotsky.
