In this study, a survey was conducted to clarify issues in theconstruction of welfare internship programs that facilitate the promotion ofthe appeal of the welfare industry to students other than social welfaremajors and the securing of human resources. A questionnaire wasconducted with the cooperation of 50 students who participated in theinternship course at the university in the Kansai area in 2021. Based on thesurvey results, the following issues were identified: (1) consideration ofproviding information for its program, (2) possible modification of thecontents of the welfare internship program to align it with studentsʼinterests and concerns, (3) bridging studentsʼ understanding of welfarework and understanding of the industry, (4) Matching the purpose ofimplementation of welfare internship programs by service providers withthe purpose of participation by students, and (5) Considering various waysof conducting welfare internship programs |
