Popis: Toto-Chan:The Little Girl at the Window was written by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi, published in March 1981 in Japan by Kodansha, and has since gained wide popularity around the world. It has been translated in 35 languages, and the Chinese versions have since gone through 20 different adaptations, making it the largest number of the translations. Regarding the research on the translated texts, some research results have already been produced in Japan, Korea, Indonesia and Taiwan, but it cannot be said that the research on the translated texts of the Chinese mainland is sufficient. Therefore, in this paper, after introducing the Japanese original and the Chinese mainland versions, we mainly examined a number of text-specific traits, such as culture-loaded words, onomatopoeia mimetic words, the rhetoric of metaphors and personification, deleting and mispronunciation, then analyzed the language features of the Chinese versions.
