| Popis: | This study explores the literature which analyzes juvenile delinquency and reports the findings. Individual data analysis is scarce in Japan, compared with research in other countries, due to the data restrictions. Considerable evidence suggests that juvenile delinquency is responsive to education and attractive legitimate labor-market opportunities; however, it is insufficient to conclude that juvenile crime rates respond to the severity of criminal sanctions. |
