A Survey on Study Environments and Impressions on Classrooms of University Students who Attended Distance Classrooms on the Internet for Half a Year: A Case in Technology Education Course

Popis: | 新型コロナウイルス感染拡大防止のため,2020年度前期は多くの大学生が自宅等でインターネットを活用した授業を受講することになった.通信制教育を経験していない多くの大学生にとってインターネットを活用した授業は初めての経験であり,授業の受講環境が整えられているかは明らかでない.そこで,2020年度前期にそうした授業を受講した大学生を対象に,受講環境,目と耳の疲れ,授業受講の感想を尋ねるアンケート調査をした.その結果,ほとんどの回答者は受講に利用する空間,PC環境,インターネット回線は確保できていた.しかし,目と耳の疲れが対面式講義よりも強かったと答える回答者が多かった.またコミュニケーションのとりづらさがインターネットを活用した授業のデメリットとして挙げられた. Many university students had to attend distance classrooms on the Internet from their homes due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) in 2020. Most of them attended distance classrooms for the first time. It is not obvious that they had a good enough study environment for the classrooms. Then, we had survey by a questionnaire to ask them their study environment, stresses on their eyes and ears, and their impressions on classrooms. As a result, we found that most of them had enough space, a PC, and the Internet environment to attend classes. However, a lot of them complained of stresses on eyes and ears. They also claimed that they had difficulties in communications with distance classrooms that they didn't have with face-to-face classes. |
