Multi-pinhole data acquisition in SPECT system enables us to acquire projection data without a rotation of gamma cameras, thus we can observe the function of organs dynamically. In addition, a multi-pinhole collimator can improve the sensitivity. However, the location and angle of pinholes are fixed in the data acquisition geometry, as a result, some artifacts may occur depending on the geometry. The purpose of this study is to develop a stationary data acquisition system. We performed with Monte Carlo simulations and did an experiments with GCA-9300R(Toshiba). |
