Popis: | International audience; Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex modulation, suffers from a high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR). Tone Reservation (TR) is a popular PAPR mitigation technique that uses a set of reserved tones to carry the peak reducing signal. Many works exist in the scientific literature on computing this peak cancelling signal and it's well known that the performance of these approaches depend also on the location of the reserved tones. In this paper, we focus our attention on the reserved tones parity and its influence on the performance in terms of PAPR reduction. The TR based gradient project (TR-GP) algorithm is used to achieve this work and we have shown that when the reserved tones have the same parity, the achieved PAPR using the TR-GP method versus the number of performed iterations is under bounded unlike the case where the reserved tones have not the same parity. © 2015 IEEE. |
