| Popis: | Purpose. The article is devoted to the study of socio-psychological characteristics of satisfaction with marriage among representatives of different ethnic groups. Methodology. Express-method of «Marital satisfaction Questionnaire» (V.V. Stolin, T.L. Romanova, G.P. Butenko), method of «Features of communication in the family» (Yu. Ye. Aleshina, L. Ya. Gozman, Ye. M. Dubovskaya), method of «Distribution of roles in the family» (Yu. Ye. Aleshina, L. Ya. Gozman, Ye. M. Dubovskaya), «The Five-Factor Personality Inventory (McCrae & Costa). Results. The article presents the results of an empirical research of the characteristics of marital satisfaction among representatives of different ethnic groups. The research revealed significant differences in marriage satisfaction, marital interaction and individual psychological aspects within respondents of various nationalities. It describes the correlation between marital satisfaction and the characteristics of interpersonal communication of spouses and the distribution of roles in the family and individual psychological properties of Ossetians and Azerbaijanis. Practical implications. The results of the research can be applied to the practice of family counseling and for the development of psychocorrectional programs for representatives of these ethnic groups. |
