Popis:	Fistula-in-ano has long been notorious for its tendency to recur after operation. Although surgery remains the main modality of treatment, still no clear recommendations are available and its treatment is still debatable. Treating anal fistula remains a challenging issue because of the anatomical location, the potential risks of septic complications and postoperative stool incontinence. Nowadays several sphincter sparing procedures are preferred, but they carry their own risk of recurrence and some degree of incontinence. So here we will discuss current procedures used in treatment of different types of fistula-in-ano.
