Here, we introduce the development of the HeartMed cardiomap, which represents a collection of manually-curated diagrams representing metabolic and signalling pathways important for understanding different phenotypes of heart failure, and discuss ongoing and potential applications in the cardiac biomedical domain. The cardiomap is developed following the guidelines proposed by the Disease Maps Community Project: https://disease-maps.org/heartfailure/. Presentation was given at the International Symposium on Integrative Bioinformatics 2022, 16th annual meeting, 15th - 16th September 2022 @ University of Konstanz. |
