Popis: | Direct catalytic asymmetric Michael addition reactions of ketones to nitroolefins using newly developed chiral pyrrolidine-pyridine conjugate bases as catalysts are described. The desired 1,4-adducts are obtained in excellent yields with high enantio- and diastereoselectivities. |
