Este estudio busca analizar la relación existente entre la percepción del funcionamiento familiar por ambos padres y la ansiedad en niños y niñas de 3ro de primaria de un colegio privado mixto del norte de Bogotá. Es así que esta investigación es desarrollada desde una perspectiva del postpositivismo, por lo cual la neutralidad está reevaluada y el investigador puede formar parte del fenómeno de interés siendo consciente de que sus valores o tendencias pueden tener injerencia en su investigación. Además, se reconoce que siempre existirá un nivel de error en las mediciones del fenómeno que se realicen (Hernández, Fernández, y Baptista, 2010). De este modo las técnicas utilizadas fueron el test de funcionamiento familiar de Olson y CMAS- R. Los resultados indicarían que de los niños y niñas que reportaron tener niveles altos de sintomatología ansiosa (13), el 76.92%(10) pertenecían a familia donde había una considerable diferencia en la percepción del funcionamiento familiar. Adicionalmente se presenta una correlación considerable entre ansiedad y adaptabilidad percibida por parte de la madre. This study seeks to analyze the relationship between the perception of family functioning by both parents and anxiety in boys and girls in 3rd grade of a private mixed school in northern Bogotá. Thus, this research is developed from a post-positivism perspective, for which neutrality is re-evaluated and the researcher can be part of the phenomenon of interest, being aware of its values or tendencies they can have injection in their research. Furthermore, it is recognized that there is always a level of error in the measurements of the phenomenon that are carried out (Hernández, Fernández, & Baptista, 2010).
