Popis: | A new procedure for the design of decentralized power system stabilizers (PSS) in multimachine power systems (MMPS) is presented in this paper. In the proposed approach, the generators most effective for stabilizer applications are first identified using participation factors and mode controllability matrix. The method determines the parameters of stabilizers by assigning mechanical modes at desired locations. The algorithm uses transfer function matrix between inputs and outputs, to assign the mechanical modes. |
