Popis: | A pancreatic arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a rare disease entity that has been estimated to account for 4% to 5% of all AVMs in digestive organs, and, to our knowledge, only 53 cases have been reported in the radiologic literature. 1 - 1 3 Although color Doppler ultrasonography may be very valuable in the diagnosis of disease, we found only 10 reported cases of pancreatic AVMs that had been evaluated by this imaging technique. 2 , 3 , 6 , 1 0 This report describes characteristic color Doppler findings that are useful in the diagnosis of a pancreatic AVM. |
