Popis:	The design of an efficient wide-angle dielectric optical waveguide Y-junction power divider is outlined. The method has several degrees of freedom that can be used to optimize the device's performance to achieve minimization of the radiation loss for a specified mode at the input and equalization of the modal losses in a dual-mode device.
