Sufficient Conditions for Robust Stability of Discrete-Time Systems Subject to Time-Varying Parameters

Popis: In this paper the robust stability problem for a linear, discrete-time uncertain system depending affinely on a vector of uncertain, time-varying parameters is considered; the novelty is that of considering bounded rate parameters. In this case the classical Quadratic Stability approach may result conservative, because it guarantees stability versus arbitrary time-varying parameters. Sufficient conditions, less conservative than those provided by the Quadratic Stability approach, are stated via an approach based on parameter dependent Lyapunov functions.
