Popis: | FOUR cases of traumatic aneurysm of the thoracic aorta due to nonpenetrating trauma have been surgically treated by us. One of these patients was operated upon ten days after spontaneous rupture of the aneurysm into the esophagus. Rupture of a traumatic aneurysm over a few months' duration has not previously been reported,1 and this case is therefore presented in detail.
