Popis: | We have been developing a series of robots to apply for each step of spinal cord injury (SCI) training. We describe the standing up and sitting assisting robot, the preliminary walking pattern assisting robot, and the practical walking assisting robot. The project, aimed at robotizing the training process, may change the SCI rehabilitation process, which may in turn promote the practical realization of the robots. First, a new standing up and sitting training robot is proposed. Second, especially in the case of incomplete SCI to the central spine, the robot assisting the coordinated motions of the lower extremities is proposed. Third, we have developed the assisting robot for dynamic practical walking. The preliminary experimental results are discussed to verify the basic functions of the robot assisting. |
