| Popis: | The effectiveness of inducing sperm-antibodies, and their activity in female rabbits was studied. The site of injection of the spermadjuvant serum was varied, and proved that local administration of the adjuvant was essential. Tests of sperm-migration, sperm-immobilization and fluorescent antibody absorption showed the antibody to be of the immobilizing type. It is postulated that an immunological reaction between rabbit sperm and female secretions does form and is effective enough to inhibit pregnancy. |
