Popis: | In previous research we developed anoptical model to visualize volumetric arrays of data. In this paper we propose to implement the optical model in a hybrid system, and present some results obtained in the experimental stage. Through the experiment we found out that the computing time required to visualize three dimensional arrays of data using the hybrid system is notably reduced and that operations like rotation, interpolation, zooming and masking the whole volume data, do not require any extra computing time. The results presented in this paper were obtained for a particular case of the optical model, where the optical constant was the refractive index. |
