Popis:	A 48-year-old woman was diagnosed with right renal vein thrombosis (RVT) 2 weeks after a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The patient had none of the major risk factors for RVT or deep vein thrombosis. She was treated with long-term anticoagulation. Complete dissolution of the thrombi was reached 1 month after diagnosis.
