Popis: | This research aims to analyze the influence of Tanburi Cemil Bey's Impressionist movement on the musical style of Tanburi Cemil Bey, including Debussy's life and the life of the "Impressionism" movement, and the influence of this movement on Turkish music. Innovations that emerged in the 20th century, a new understanding in creative painting and music are emerging. Impressionism, the impression of the outside world in art, the proper image, the production of artwork is a movement. In this current field, among the best ones to obtain different strains, to produce new harmonic and technical approaches; instead of describing a specific event, story or object, they intended to convey the impression that it was left behind. In this respect, it is observed that Debussy and Tanburi Cemil Bey have similarities in their musical narrations. The research is about getting the feature from the first studies done on this field. The work of the research is the work of Debussy and Tanburi Cemil Bey; according to him, his sample has two composers and one works. The similarities and differences reflecting the impressionism were compared. The musical and formal analysis of the works related to the notes were made. The whole of the research revealed that his two composers did not pay much attention to the tone, they told more about the movement, gave importance to the notorious notation and pause, reflected the impressions of the East and the West. |
