Popis: Mark-release-recapture techniques were used to determine the extent of dispersal of domestic Aedes aegypti within and between Rabai villages on the Kenya coast. Most intravillage dispersal occurred within 20 m of release, with a high recovery within release houses throughout a 12-day collection period. Dispersal was independent of adult age for both sexes. Intervillage dispersal dropped off sharply beyond 200 m. Predominant dispersal into the village came from the downwind direction.
