| Popis: | We report a case of Klebsiella pneumoniae peritonitis after endoscopic sclerotherapy and discuss its pathogenesis and risk factors. We also review previous cases in the literature and make recommendations for prophylactic therapy. Endoscopists should be aware of peritonitis as a possible complication of endoscopic sclerotherapy. |
