Popis: | The effect of various oral contraceptives (OC) upon pituitary response to stimulation with 100 μg LH-RH and 200 μg TRH was studied with and without the application of bromocriptine. The results were compared to those obtained in normally cyclic women before and after the administration of bromocriptine. There was a highly significant inhibition of the LH-RH-stimulated gonadotropin release by the high-dosed and sequential OC (p The addition of bromocriptine to the regimen did not affect the release of LH, FSH, and TSH brought about by LH-RH and TRH, although there was a tendency to higher LH and diminished FSH release after stimulation. The PRL-response was significantly inhibited by bromocriptine (p |
