Popis: | of the past ten years (1958-1968) of the Maine Cystic Fibrosis (C.F.) Program is presented. The program stressed parent education, and made available drugs and equipment as needed. Diagnostic facilities were provided, as well as the services of paramedical personnel such as the visiting public health nurse, nutritionist, physical therapist, and social worker. The operation of this program indicates the benefits derived from the cooperative efforts of parents, physicians, and public health agencies on local, state, and federal levels. |
