Popis: | Various methods were used to reconstruct an environment similar to a chemically bactericidal or bacteriostatic effect in the Ames mutagenicity assay in order to determine whether a false-positive result could occur. Neither population reduction, sonication, nor increased histidine produced an increase of spurious revertant colonies. |
