| Popis: | Resumo Fundada pelo Pe Ratisbonne em 1842 para converter os judeus, o carisma de Sion oscila entre a oração, o ensino e a ação direta. Sion foi mais conhecida por seus internatos até os anos 1960, quando a incorporação das Ancelles (1937) e a virada ecumênica a fizeram retornar a suas origens. A pesquisa histórica realizada nos arquivos de Paris mostra que as tarefas educativas levaram as Irmãs a negligenciar o carisma original até o Concílio Vaticano II (1962-65), quando confiaram seus colégios a leigas, saíram para se formar em teologia e estudos bíblicos e participar do movimento de estima mútua com relação ao povo judeu. Abstract Founded by Fr. Ratisbonne in 1842 to convert Jews to Catholicism, Zion's charisma enacts prayer, teaching and direct action. Zion was better known for its numerous boarding schools until the 1960s, when the incorporation of the Ancelles (1937) and the ecumenical turning contributed to the return to its origins. A historical research made in the archives of Paris points out that educational tasks made Sisters neglect the original charisma until the Second Vatican Council. Schools were then assigned to lay women and the Sisters undertook theological and biblical studies in order to participate in the mutual esteem movement towards the Jewish people. |
