Popis: The funeral of Hetman Kirill Rozumovsky is memorable for every conscious Ukrainian, because it is preserved to our day. Today the question of its study remains relevant. This is one of the three famous graves in Ukraine. Deliberately returning for permanent residence in Baturyn on the verge of death, Kirill Rozumovsky began construction of the Church of the Resurrection. After the death of the Hetman on January 9, 1803, there were in 1925 and 1927, two attempts to uncover the burial of Hetman Kirill Rozumovsky. The last attempt ended in a barbaric opening of the crypt and its robbery. Today, despite the already available materials, this topic is not sufficiently studied, there are a number of issues that require detailed research. Relevance of research. The burial of Hetman of Ukraine Kirill Rozumovsky has been preserved to this day. Therefore, its comprehensive study and research remains relevant. The purpose of the study is to reveal new information about the burial of Hetman of Ukraine Kirill Rozumovsky. Methods. In the process of preparing the publication, general scientific (analysis, synthesis, comparative, classification, systematization) and historical (problem-chronological) methods were used. The scientific novelty is in introduction into scientific circulation new discovered document. Conclusions. The image of the ossuary of Hetman of Ukraine Kirill Rozumovsky is the only image of the crypt known today, which helps to visualize the burial. After analyzing the drawing by Y. Haboko and data from the protocol of the opening of the crypt, compiled by O. Poplavsky, and Archaeological Research Report 2008, it becomes clear that the scale of the sketch almost coincides with the records in the protocol, the error is approximately 5-10 cm. The document is a valuable source in the study of the burial of the Hetman, but there are still issues that need further study and research.
