Popis: Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS) is an autoimmune inflammatory polyneuropathy characterized by flaccid areflexic paralysis, albuminocytologic dissociation in the CSF and demyelination. Clinical weakness is marked by axonal injury not by the demyelination; therefore axonal form has a worse prognosis.
