Popis:	The objective of this paper is to describe a new method to ensure accurate placement of a ventriculo-atrial shunt distal catheter. A technique is described using pressure waveform changes within the right side of the heart. Pressure monitoring is a new method of placing atrial catheters and is easy to perform.
