| Popis: | The In-111 OncoScint scan appearance of splenic metastasis from colon cancer is not well described. A case is presented in which a splenic metastasis had decreased tracer uptake on In-111 OncoScint imaging correlating with a new abnormality on a restaging CT scan. In addition, the In-111 OncoScint scan revealed metastatic disease elsewhere in the abdomen which was not detected by CT. This added information was useful to the patient and her family who reversed their initial request for splenectomy |
