| Popis: | Within the framework of obtaining a valid authorization for tissue preparation of cryopreserved human amniotic membranes at the Paul Ehrlich Institute, pursuant to § 21a paragraph 1 of the German Medicines Act (AMG), parts of the existing good practice procedures for acquisition of cryopreserved human amniotic membranes from donor placentas were reviewed and supplemented by new knowledge. The present good practice procedures were formulated in cooperation with members of the section for tissue transplantation and biotechnology of the German Ophthalmological Society. The current revised version is presented in this article. |
