Popis:	A method is described for detection of nonoxynol in condoms, based on methanol-water extraction followed by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography. Using this method, we found that approximately 50% of the nonionic surfactant lubricant nonoxynol migrated into elastomers (rubber latex), resulting in a concentration of nonoxynol insufficient to inhibit human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) (
