INVESTIGATION OF THE CHARACTER OF INTERACTION AND GLASS FORMATION IN THE SYSTEM As2S3– TlGaS2

Popis: To elucidate the character of the chemical interaction of As2S3 and TlGaS2 compounds and the of glass formation, modern physicochemical methods of analysis were used: differential thermal (DTA), X-ray phase (XRD), microstructural (MSA), as well as by measuring microhardness and density, and a T-x phase diagram was constructed. It has been established that the phase diagram of the As2S3- TlGaS2 system is a quasi-binary eutectic type. In the system between As2S3and TlGaS2 , a eutectic is formed, the composition of which reaches 15 mol %, TlGaS2 and temperature 240°C. It has been established that solid solutions based on As2S3in the system reach 2 mol % TlGaS2 , and based on TlGaS2 up to -10 mol % As2S3. Under normal cooling conditions in a system based on As2S3, the glass formation region extends up to 20 mol %. TlGaS2 .
