Summary form only given. Within this research the damping oscillation pulses solid-state generator based on the pulsed excitation of the oscillating circuit has been developed and experimentally studied. Output harmonic voltage oscillations frequency reaches a few megahertz, while the pulse repetition rate is up to 1 kHz. Output pulse repetition rate of the generator defines power consumption from the supply main, which does not exceed 700 W, at the same time maximum peak power of the output pulses reaches several hundred kilowatts. A high-frequency transformer is used in the output stage of the generator. Tanks to using the transformer it is possible to match an impedance of the generator with different loads by simple changing of the windings rate. In present research the generator was used for excitation of a corona discharge in air, created for surface decontamination. Within this paper the electrical circuit diagram and principle of the generator operation as well as surface decontamination experimental results are described. |
