Social Stigma against leprosy has been known as basic hurdle in the Control, which not adequately mpacted by IEC Programs; As one of the alternative approaches, the responsibility of eliminating leprosy stigma was given to the patients’ families and community to carryout the activities as per their own strategy. This is a 3 year action research project which facilitates to design action plan by community according to their options and implement.This Manual contains SOCIAL THEORY AND PRACTICES BY THE COMMUNITY TO ERADICATE STIGMA AND SHOWS A WAY FORWARD TO ZERO LEPROSY. |
