Popis: | A method is described whereby all the cells obtained by making a cell suspension from a complete human spleen, can be stored at —196°C in the presence of dimethyl sulphoxide. Satisfactory viability of the stored cells, as indicated by their ability to transform when cultured in the presence of phytohaemagglutinin, was found for seven out of nine spleens. The longest period of storage was 227 days. |
