Popis: | Former consultant ear, nose, and throat surgeon Ashford Hospital, Middlesex (b Harborne, West Midlands, 1915; q St Bartholomew's Hospital 1940; FRCS Ed), died from Alzheimer's disease and bronchopneumonia on 4 July 2001. During the second world war he served in the Royal Air Force in the West Indies and on troop ships to the Far East. In the 1950s he was appointed to Ashford and Hounslow hospitals and also worked in Harley Street. He retired in 1975 and spent much time tending his five acre garden and fields. He leaves his second wife, Joan; and two children. |
