To create a healthy and educated society, first of all, it is necessary to educate and expand the range of subject knowledge of students, form ideas about the state of the environment and develop ecological thinking. Currently, education faces a serious task: to promote an increase in the level of environmental literacy among the younger generation, to form in students the necessary theoretical knowledge about environmental violations of the environment, to develop the skills and abilities to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. The moral and environmental education of primary school students is always in the center of attention of teachers. This problem is especially relevant now, in the context of global climate change. A modern student needs not only the collection of knowledge and information, but also the development of thinking, the processing and independent presentation of the information received, the acquisition of cooperation skills. Methods and techniques used in teaching school Biology should contribute to the acquisition, development and consolidation of these skills. When teaching the subject of Biology in a general education school, traditional and modern teaching methods are combined, which mutually complement each other. Methods that provide an active environment during learning are called interactive or active methods. The future biology teacher must skillfully combine these two sets of teaching methods. Traditional teaching methods are based on the simple transfer of knowledge (information) to the trainee by the explanatory-demonstration method and their simple reproduction by the latter, parallel implementation of practical or laboratory work. |
