| Popis: | BACKGROUND: Pediatric hypertension can predispose children to adult cardiovascular disease and can be the first presentation of significant medical conditions. However, it is recognized that pediatric hypertension is underdiagnosed due to difficulty identifying elevated blood pressures (BPs). Evidence suggests that electronic medical record (EMR) automated alerts (e.g. best practice advisory, BPA) can improve detection rate of pediatric hypertension.
