A Case of Bilateral Anterior Shoulder Dislocation During Window Cleaning

Popis: Shoulder dislocations are the most common large joint dislocations in humans. The most common anterior dislocations are seen in unilateral shoulder dislocations while posterior dislocations are most common in bilateral shoulder dislocations. Bilateral posterior shoulder dislocations usually occur due to seizures, electrical shock and electroconvulsive treatment. On the other hand, bilateral anterior shoulder dislocations typically occur due to trauma. Although there are many successful methods for reduction of shoulder dislocations, the usage of scapular rotation technique is increasing because of the simplicity, reducing risk of complication, causing less pain and fewer requirements to anesthesia and analgesia. In this case report, we aimed to present an atraumatic bilateral anterior shoulder dislocation with successful reduction using scapular rotation technique.
