Popis: | We investigated species and strains of bacteria, chiefly Staphylococci, isolated from the lesions of several pyodermas and their sensitivities to several antibiotics during 1975–1979. In furuncle and impetigo contagiosa, Staphylococcus aureus comprised most of the isolated bacteria. In folliculitis, Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis occurred at about equal frequency among the isolated bacteria, and in infectious atheroma, more than half of the bacterial isolates were Staphylococcus epidermidis. The sensitivities of the strains of Staphylococcus aureus were in the order of CEX, GM > CP > TC > ABPC, AMPC > EM, and those of Staphylococcus epidermidis were in the order of CEX, GM > CP > ABPC, AMPC > EM, TC. The sensitivities of the strains of Staphylococcus aureus were generally lower than those of Staphylococcus epidermidis. |
